Wedding Invitations | Our Process
Consultation
All projects begin with a preliminary lead form to help us establish a starting point. Then we’ll meet for a 30-45 minute virtual consultation where we’ll chat about your wedding invitation ideas and our process. We will show you examples of how color, paper, and embellishments can be used to build your one-of-a-kind wedding stationery. Samples will be mailed to you so you can experience the color and textures for yourself.
Contracting
After the consultation, we will send you a proposal along with a contract, timeline, and invoice for a 50% retainer. Once the contract is signed and the deposit paid, you will have reserved your spot on our project calendar!
Design
You will be emailed information to upload inspiration and wording for your custom design project that we will use to create your first proof. All proofs will be sent to you digitally for review and revisions. The design process typically takes 3-4 weeks.
Production + Delivery
Your final payment and guest address list will be due at the time we go to print. At White Ink Calligraphy, we trust only the best printers who specialize in fine stationery to produce our products. We provide full assembly and mail out services. We also ship or you can pick up your order from our studio in East Nashville, Tennessee.

White Ink Calligraphy + Co. works with our clients to design custom and semi-custom wedding invitations and details including venue maps, monograms, spot calligraphy, gold foil and metallic thermography, letterpress, envelope liners, wax seals, and more.
Labor Day might be Monday. And you are already in pumpkin spice mode, but galleries are flowing in from our spring and summer weddings and we want to hold off just a little bit longer before we start pulling out our sweaters and uggs.
The elements of this suite - it all came together for the perfect spring wedding. We had so much fun working with our bride, Elizabeth, on this!

Candid > curated is always my preference. It’s a little bit of a brand standard at White Ink. We love showing you the BTS, the pretty mess, the chaos of running a small business, the bickering that goes on between sisters working together 😂; the figure it out energy. It’s our style. Curated is necessary for those portfolio moments. But candid-ness, we like to think it builds the trust that is required when working with creatives ❤️. We are human.
