Bride and Groom side by side holding hands

Turning to each other, hand in hand, looking at each other with the same soul-shaking stare, the kind of stare that fully surrenders to the excitement of the moment- that’s the part of a wedding that always gets me. Couples in THEIR moment, that small and mighty moment in each ceremony is the best part of the whole celebration. Our incredible couple Padma and Sagar were surrounded by their closest friends and family in one of the most stunning receptions we’ve been a part of. This day was filled with countless moments that will stay with us. And I love that we get to share their day with you!

custom invitation. Deep blue/green with gold lettering and curved paper outline.

For starters, Padma and Sagar’s custom invitations boasted a deep green hue making the gold print and calligraphy almost seem to pop right off of the paper. They chose the unique curved outline for the invite, making it an especially stunning piece for guests to enjoy. Your invites can encompass the style of an event beyond color and print- using a detail like the shape of an invite is a great way to incorporate your vision.

Row of mirrored seating charts standing against a wall. Surrounded by florals at their base.

The whimsical seating chart display was a guest favorite. The sleek gold frames gently leaned against the wall while a bright array of florals surrounded their base was simply magical. I get excited when couples use florals to enhance the seating chart displays- because it just never misses!

Well, this is about as stunning as it gets when styling your bar signage! Our team enjoyed creating the custom signature cocktails sign which was used with the same paper color and gold ink as Padma and Sagar’s invites and was styled with the same florals as the seating chart display. YES, to carrying details throughout your entire celebration! What an inviting display during cocktail hour!

We were honored to create Padma and Sagar’s dining menus to add to this incredibly stunning reception. Again, guests enjoyed the beautiful deep green hue that was used for the invites and bar signage. The gold print flowed perfectly with the gold-rimmed dining plates, gold napkins and goldware! An absolutely timeless motif.

White Ink is honored to be included in the excitement of our couples’ celebrations! We delight in the traditions, the love and the people that each couple values. Bringing their individual vision to life is why we’re here! And when they take each other’s hands, they can put their trust in ours. Cheers!

The Night Before

The Night Before

A bride and groom’s time to shine isn’t narrowed down to just one day. Sometimes, the most meaningful moments happen in the days surrounding a wedding day. One of the biggest roles of a rehearsal dinner is to allow the bride and group an opportunity to properly welcome family and the wedding party. Cason and Eddie set the bar for what a rehearsal dinner should look like and feel like! I was honored that they invited White Ink to take part in delivering a rehearsal to remember!

White Ink knows how to deliver the goods…. paper goods! Cason and Eddie’s June nuptials offered the perfect chance for them to use the beauty of summer floral prints. I especially love that the floral print we used on the rehearsal invite liner was also used when customizing the table number signs for this beautiful couple.

I always love to see that gorgeous dusty blue hue. Our couple incorporated this color throughout the entire evening, and I simply didn’t get enough of it.

Custom Welcome Sign in front of draped entrance and ornamented with florals

Cason and Eddie chose the ever-stunning Noelle in Nashville to welcome their close friends and family to their wedding celebrations. White Ink collaborated with Hill Event Rentals to put together this amazing welcome sign that was tucked perfectly against a draped entryway. The florals that lined the bottom of the sign was the cherry on top that made this welcome sign the delicate focal point that it was. Teamwork!

“Your Seat Awaits,” topped the escort card display. Hill Event Rentals once again showcased some of their best work with building this display to match the Welcome Sign display. White Ink did what we do best and added the laser-cut text along with individually calligraphed place cards, complete with a custom monogramed wax seal.

Remember, event signage doesn’t have to be cold or bossy. Direct your guests in a warm and beautiful way! Feel free to make it unique and even playful! We love helping our clients with these ideas.

The table numbers fit perfectly into the stunning formal tablescapes in the Noelle’s Sadiee Gallery Grand Ballroom. They simple belonged in this room!

The place cards elevated the show-stopping tablescape and fit effortlessly alongside the goldware at each place setting. This is a perfect example of how one seemingly small detail can really pack a big decor punch!

We were honored to join our couple, Cason and Eddie, in one of the most meaningful nights of their lives! They made sure that their family and wedding party received a proper welcome. We cannot wait to share more details about their wedding day too! For now, we will hold on to memories that were made “The Night Before.”

Planting the Seed | Morgan + Tommy | 6.24.23

Every moment of planning with this sweet couple was a true joy for all of us at White Ink. Morgan and Tommy chose an incredible balance of boldness and gentleness throughout their wedding details making this wedding unforgettable for all in attendance. I love getting to show you all events where there is no shortage of details that aim to inspire. Enjoy!

Morgan and Tommy’s invitation suites delicately showcased a beautiful lavender color and theme- a detail that was laced throughout the entire ceremony and reception! The letterpress work on the card stock paper was beautifully done by our friends at Clover Calligraphy Co. who always do impressive work! A soft lavender hue was chosen for the envelopes in addition to the vellum envelope liners with a dainty tuber rose print. I also want to point to the pressed flowers in the custom wax seals! Is this not the dreamiest invitation suite?

If you look closely at the details card from our bride and groom’s invitation suite, you can see that this textured card is actually seed paper! The cards were infused with wildflower seeds so that wherever guests planted their cards, wildflowers would grow! Talk about a memorable detail!

The wedding welcome sign was done in a frosted acrylic. It really brought me back to the invitation suite details as guests could see the same custom monogram from the invite as well as the beautiful tuber rose print on the vellum envelope liner. Connecting details throughout an event, especially a wedding, can easily elevate your special day.

Ceremony programs with wooden handles styled with flower and lavender and lavender seeds.

A very thoughtful detail that Morgan and Tommy added to their June wedding was letting us create these adorable fan programs which, of course, included the stunning lavender color theme and floral prints that blanketed the details of their wedding. This is a perfect example of making parts of your ceremony details functional for your guests while maintaining a delicate theme.

Alright you guys, it’s time to talk about this stunning, garden-party inspired seating chart! Guests could find their escort cards in these adorable little wooden garden boxes that were appropriately filled with gorgeous florals and greenery. One of the sweetest seating charts I’ve been honored to take part in.

Among all of the delicate designs of the day, Morgan and Tommy still maintained a wonderful balance of boldness, like this one-of-a-kind bourbon bar. We got to create this awesome, laser-engraved, wooden bourbon bar sign which matched incredibly well with the rustic look they wanted for this setting. I’m really proud of how great this sign turned out. It made for a great conversation piece among guests too!

White Ink also created the custom cocktail sign using the same frosted acrylic as the wedding welcome sign. Yes to matching signage!

The table signage, place cards, and escort cards were not left out of this lavender inspired theme. Look at how well all of the finer details fit together! I’m obsessed. Notice more of the tuber rose print throughout.

Reception Menus in lavender topped with wax seals.

I loved getting to create these summer-perfect, lavender-inspired menus for Morgan and Tommy’s reception. Does the wax seal look familiar? It’s the same custom wax seal with pressed flowers that sealed the guests’ invitation suites! These looked so amazing among the beautiful tablescapes.

I am so proud of the work we were able to accomplish for Morgan and Tommy! This summer wedding was one for the books and certainly one I will remember for years to come. When it comes to summer wedding inspiration, I guess you could say, this couple has planted the seed! Cheers!

Florals are Forever | Molly + Cam | 4.22.23

Florals are Forever | Molly + Cam | 4.22.23

When it comes to planning a spring wedding in Nashville that can deliver an enchanting array of florals, Cheekwood reigns supreme. If you know me, then you probably hear me talk about my obsession with florals especially when it comes to invitations. The cherry on top is when the very florals we use to design invitation suites actually match the florals of the event and can be seen throughout the decor of the day!

Florals at entranceway of outdoor path

This past April, White Ink had the honor of working with the sweetest couple on their wedding day stationary details. Molly and Cam share the same love for florals that I do and together, we created one of my favorite suites to date. I’m so excited to share this one.

This invitation suite was so inspiring for me and the White Ink team to create. We loved having the chance to let the beauty of florals and calligraphy interlace in the most magnificent ways.

Floral decor around ceremony seating.

This invitation is designed using full spot calligraphy in dusty rose ink and letter pressed onto beautiful, white stock card. I love the unique, tilted orientation of the print. Each of these details makes this invite so very memorable to the guests receiving them.

It’s important that I point out one of the best parts about this suite. The floral design that is printed on the beautiful dusty rose liner is the very floral print that lined the bar at the reception area of the wedding day. Tying together wedding day details is a top tier move, tying together floral details is magical.

Our fun continued with Molly and Cam’s guest escort cards. These cards were done using a delicate scalloped card stock. Spot calligraphy on, you guessed it, dusty rose (a fast favorite for many of our clients!).

I personally love the way these gently designed escort cards were displayed on a grand, round, linen table topped with bold florals. It’s all about balance, this is a gorgeously perfect example.

Molly and Cam took the time to bring in florals throughout the wedding day decor which was only enhanced by the remarkable scenery of Cheekwood. I look back on this project fondly and I am so proud of how wonderfully it all came together for our amazing couple. Florals seem to speak their own special language that people intuitively understand. Florals represent life, they represent love. Florals are forever.

Townley’s Baby Shower!

Townley’s Baby Shower!

This June I had the honor of hosting the sweetest baby shower for my sister, Townley! Guys, I CANNOT wait to be an aunt. This feels so surreal, and I am drinking up every moment. So many of our clients have had the joy of working with Townley throughout the years as she is a machine behind the scenes at White Ink Calligraphy! She is the heart and soul of our stationary department. Townley continuously dedicates her time assisting our clients with graphic designing and printing services. Whether our couples want a custom wedding invitation suite or one-of-a-kind cocktail napkins, Townley makes it happen! So, now it’s time to celebrate Townley as she glides effortlessly into the beauty of a new role- mother. Enjoy this little peek inside what was an incredibly happy day for us all.

LOVE the invites that we sent out for Townley’s shower. It’s no surprise to anyone that I have always been huge fan of florals on invitations. The flowers bordering the event details are so beautiful and create the most delicate frame. We also really loved using this muted green for the envelopes.

The welcome sign was a true joy to create! The pressed florals between the glass resembles the florals from the invites and the lettering takes on the same muted green from the invitation envelopes. I love when small details connect like this!

For the mamas out there who experienced pregnancy, did you ever have any food cravings? Townley definitely did….she craved mocktails! That has been her number one food craving throughout her pregnancy. So, naturally, we set up a mocktail bar so she could mocktail to her heart’s content. I especially loved the little onesie, paci, and bottle stirrers!

Friends and family surrounded Townley and showed so much support. We were so excited to celebrate baby Goldberg!

It was so fun having everyone fill out these personal message cards for baby Goldberg. There was so much love shared through these sweet notes! – I hope that you love – I hope you always- I hope you never forget – I hope you learn – I hope you get your mama’s – I hope you get your dad’s – I hope you become –

I am so lucky to have a local urban farm right in my neighborhood! Joy House Blooms supplied us with the most GORGEOUS selection of flowers which we used to create a “floral bar”. Guests were encouraged to make their own arrangements that they could take back home with them using this amazing selection of flowers!

The place cards used to identify the flowers looked so good here! The colors, the place cards, the flowers, the mason jars- it’s all just perfection!

Our dogs definitely tried to steal the spotlight during the gift opening. They’re the cutest little attention stealers though aren’t they?

This will be a day I will always cherish. My sister is like my right hand. White Ink wouldn’t be what it is today without her diligence and dedication. But making me an aunt is the best gift by far! I can’t wait to meet baby Goldberg.

Florals on Invitation Suites- Why they work.

Florals on Invitation Suites- Why they work.

Wedding invitations are one of the first things couples put together while planning their wedding. Invites are a powerful piece to an event because it’s the first time guests get to have a little taste of what’s to come. Invites are a wedding’s first impression! As one can imagine, the task of picking the right one can sometimes seem impossible. This is where we come in! White Ink is equipped with the right tools and the right experience to customize our couple’s invitations suites to fit like a glove. And we want to bring you in on a little invitation detail that never disappoints- Florals! Here’s why we think florals on invitation suites can make a wedding blossom.

Florals are Timeless.

Trust me, no matter the season, location, year, or decade, floral prints remain the powerhouse of prints that never go out of style. The beauty of the flower is something that people have always understood making this an ageless detail forever standing the test of time.

Florals are Seasonally Appropriate.

From winter weddings to springtime nuptials, there are florals for every season. I love when couples choose to add in seasonal floral details to match the season of their wedding day. It’s a clever thought and especially meaningful.

Florals on Invites Tie Together Wedding Day Florals.

This is a wedding detail that can truly come full circle. Many times, couples will use their invitation suites as an opportunity to showcase the very flowers that will adorn the venue on their big day. This type of attention to detail has an undeniable wow factor.

Florals Can Have a Personal Touch.

Add a personal touch to an invitation suite by using a print of florals from the region you grew up in or flowers from the spot where you got engaged. There have been numerous White Ink couples that have chosen floral prints for their invites that are symbolic to them in very personal ways. It’s always so touching when we get to be a part of those particularly special details.

Florals Are Versatile.

This is probably my favorite part about floral prints. Whether our couples’ styles are traditional, contemporary, minimal or upscale, there is a floral print that goes with it! Make a bold statement with a big pop of florals on your invitation suite or delicately elevate your invite with a branch of evergreen. With an endless variety of floral prints that can be created, you cannot go wrong, I promise.

I truly enjoy helping our White Ink couples customize invitation suites like these. Remember, when it comes to your wedding, you are the one with the vision; and want to help it come true! If you are thinking of including florals on your wedding invites, I think we’ve got a couple of ideas up our sleeve! We can’t wait to connect with you.
