A Symphony of Love | Kayla + Caleb | 7.15.23

A Symphony of Love | Kayla + Caleb | 7.15.23

Kayla and Caleb’s Nashville wedding was an absolute dream! This picturesque event of classic and timeless details was something you just couldn’t take your eyes off of. From the gothic style architecture of Scarritt Bennett’s Wightman Chapel to the grandeur of Nashville’s Schermerhorn Symphony Center, there wasn’t a stone left unturned as Kayla and Caleb carefully placed together one of the best Nashville weddings White Ink has seen. I want to share with you all of the finer details that we were honored to be a part of. Hopefully you can take away some serious wedding inspo from this gorgeous day!

Wedding invitation suite styled along with jewelry, perfume, garter and other fabrics.

We designed our couple’s wedding invitation suite to embody the elegance of their big day. A custom monogram delicately stood out on the beautiful card stock. I loved adding the extra touch of using a custom, monogram, gold, wax seal for the envelopes. These are small details that pack a big impression!

Programs- What separates White Ink from big box paper retailers? We make it our job to take out the guess work! We understand what should go into your programs, we know how many you need, the size, where to “splurge”, and how even to incorporate elements form your invitation suite. We have the experience and the expertise to help you get EXACTLY what you need for important, day-of details just like this.

It’s hard to top the simple elegance a mirrored seating chart. I have always loved how the white lettering on the glass instantly elevates the beauty of this double-rib framed mirror. Kayla and Caleb styled this gorgeous seating chart with florals (always a good idea!) and surrounded it with glass vases holding floating candles. I can’t think of a better way to be invited to take my seat at a table in the opulent Schermerhorn. Divine!

Custom dinner menu on top of gold rim plate.

The most elegant part to these custom designed reception menus is that each menu had the guests’ names calligraphed directly on to them. This is why I love what I do! I love when my couples give me the chance to really elevate the finer details of their reception. And yes, guests DO notice little things just like this and often appreciate the level of attention.

Kayla and Caleb went with one of my favorite bar signs from our rental collection. We customized the drink menu to fit with the style of all other day-of paper goods as well as the invitation suite. And please take a moment to gush over the print of their sweet pup, Cash, on the cocktail napkins! Cocktail napkins are the perfect moment to bring in something special or personal to your big day. And it’s a detail that will be cherished forever.

Custom koozie and florals on top of table.

I think one of the most appreciated details of the evening were these adorable koozies that we customized for Kayla and Caleb! They once again took time to personalize an item that guests were able to use and enjoy. It was the perfect little koozie for guests to use with their drinks while they let loose on the Schermerhorn dance floor! I couldn’t love this more.

For the White Ink team, this was a night to remember. Nights like this make us proud to do what we do. We love making our couples happy! Kayla and Caleb were an amazing couple to work with. They knew exactly what they wanted and trusted us to pull their vision together. And we are honored to do just that. Cheers to the happy couple!

Planting the Seed | Morgan + Tommy | 6.24.23

Every moment of planning with this sweet couple was a true joy for all of us at White Ink. Morgan and Tommy chose an incredible balance of boldness and gentleness throughout their wedding details making this wedding unforgettable for all in attendance. I love getting to show you all events where there is no shortage of details that aim to inspire. Enjoy!

Invitation suite of envelope, invite, vellum wrap, rsvp and details cards.

Morgan and Tommy’s invitation suites delicately showcased a beautiful lavender color and theme- a detail that was laced throughout the entire ceremony and reception! The letterpress work on the card stock paper was beautifully done by our friends at Clover Calligraphy Co. who always do impressive work! A soft lavender hue was chosen for the envelopes in addition to the vellum envelope liners with a dainty tuber rose print. I also want to point to the pressed flowers in the custom wax seals! Is this not the dreamiest invitation suite?

Invitation suite with lavender stems beside it.

If you look closely at the details card from our bride and groom’s invitation suite, you can see that this textured card is actually seed paper! The cards were infused with wildflower seeds so that wherever guests planted their cards, wildflowers would grow! Talk about a memorable detail!

The wedding welcome sign was done in a frosted acrylic. It really brought me back to the invitation suite details as guests could see the same custom monogram from the invite as well as the beautiful tuber rose print on the vellum envelope liner. Connecting details throughout an event, especially a wedding, can easily elevate your special day.

Ceremony programs with wooden handles styled with flower and lavender and lavender seeds.

A very thoughtful detail that Morgan and Tommy added to their June wedding was letting us create these adorable fan programs which, of course, included the stunning lavender color theme and floral prints that blanketed the details of their wedding. This is a perfect example of making parts of your ceremony details functional for your guests while maintaining a delicate theme.

Escort card display with escort cards placed inside wooden boxes on wooden shelving decorated in florals and greenery.

Alright you guys, it’s time to talk about this stunning, garden-party inspired seating chart! Guests could find their escort cards in these adorable little wooden garden boxes that were appropriately filled with gorgeous florals and greenery. One of the sweetest seating charts I’ve been honored to take part in.

Engraved wooden bar sign on top of bar with prepared drink and small flower arrangment.

Among all of the delicate designs of the day, Morgan and Tommy still maintained a wonderful balance of boldness, like this one-of-a-kind bourbon bar. We got to create this awesome, laser-engraved, wooden bourbon bar sign which matched incredibly well with the rustic look they wanted for this setting. I’m really proud of how great this sign turned out. It made for a great conversation piece among guests too!

White Ink also created the custom cocktail sign using the same frosted acrylic as the wedding welcome sign. Yes to matching signage!

frosted acrylic table number, placecards, and escort cards. Styled with florals and lavender.

The table signage, place cards, and escort cards were not left out of this lavender inspired theme. Look at how well all of the finer details fit together! I’m obsessed. Notice more of the tuber rose print throughout.

Reception Menus in lavender topped with wax seals.

I loved getting to create these summer-perfect, lavender-inspired menus for Morgan and Tommy’s reception. Does the wax seal look familiar? It’s the same custom wax seal with pressed flowers that sealed the guests’ invitation suites! These looked so amazing among the beautiful tablescapes.

I am so proud of the work we were able to accomplish for Morgan and Tommy! This summer wedding was one for the books and certainly one I will remember for years to come. When it comes to summer wedding inspiration, I guess you could say, this couple has planted the seed! Cheers!

Downtown Dreams, Hall of Fame I Do’s | Lindsey + Carson | 3.18.23

Downtown Dreams, Hall of Fame I Do’s | Lindsey + Carson | 3.18.23

Nashville is widely celebrated as the birthplace of country music. When you’re here, you don’t have to go very far before you start to hear sounds of strumming and people bearing their hearts and souls through the words and the meanings of this thing they call country. If this is your jam, we are excited to bring you downtown with us to see how White Ink couple, Lindsey and Carson, created their dream wedding surrounded by the iconic collections that live inside of Nashville’s very own Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. Check out how White Ink took part in creating details that helped tie this downtown dream wedding together.

It’s easy to tell when a couple takes time and care in selecting the finer details of their wedding. Lindsey and Carson are an exceptional team and were so fun to work with because they took care in choosing what they wanted for their big day.

Arched wedding welcome sign.

This arched wedding welcome sign is definitely one of my favorites from our collection. I love the all-white look; it fits into nearly any style and makes the perfect canvas for displaying florals or really any other designing element that you would want to tie together throughout the day.

The beautiful floral designs that Lindsey and Carson chose was laced throughout the ceremony and reception including the wedding welcome sign.

It’s fun when we get to focus our attention on the reception too! I can’t begin to tell you guys how cool it is to be a part of so many amazing seating chart designs and ideas.

Florals cascading down a soft gray, wooden seating chart with white ink on acrylic signage

This seating chart just makes me smile. I don’t know how else to put it. I mean, the muted, soft gray with florals cascading all around. I really love how delicate the white ink looks against this color and how the greenery pops from behind the acrylic of the seating signage. Perfectly magical.

Our couple chose our white arched table number signs in black ink. Not only did these little beauties match the shape and color of the arched wedding welcome sign, but they also blended perfectly into the stunning tablescapes!

White Ink was asked to design Lindsey and Carson’s custom menus for the reception that were perfectly tucked into the napkins at the formal place settings. We also created the most adorable little oval place cards with tassels that went alongside the custom menus. I love when details are both adorable and functional!

The word “Dinner” peeks out from the napkin leaving this custom menu sleek and inviting.

“Grab a Drink but your place is on the Dance Floor,” is really the kind of guidance I need to encourage me to let my hair down and hit the dance floor. I love added humor into signage like this, very fun and highly appropriate.

It’s the Late Night snacks that are the real MVP’s of wedding receptions and we all know it… I’m so happy we got to make a sign for these little lifesavers.

When it comes to Nashville, you may be here for the country, or you may be here for a good time. Lindsey and Carson made sure to have both and that’s what keeps us always coming back for more. To this amazing couple, may there be more just like you with nights just like this. Cheers, ya’ll!

The Heart at Home | Caroline + Landon | 11.12.22

The Heart at Home | Caroline + Landon | 11.12.22

There is no shortage of awe-inspiring, crowd-pleasing, showstopping wedding venues in Nashville. But sometimes, home is exactly where you want to be and simply nothing else will do. Because, as we all know, there’s no place like home. Last fall, Caroline and Landon invited their guests to the family farm where they created an incredibly memorable wedding day and White Ink had the pleasure of elevating this beautiful day with some uniquely exciting details.

White Ink made an elegantly simple envelope using spot calligraphy in gold which the couple paired with their invites. I love this look because it is crisp and clean and the perfect example of “less is more”. Timeless and always appropriate.

The vast family farm offered the most breathtaking views and open spaces. Caroline and Landon thoughtfully provided a directional sign for their guests so that they could easily get around the farm. White Ink put together this rustic, chic sign. I especially love the look of the acrylic with the wooden case. The custom white calligraphy was the cherry on top!

We took the same style as the directional sign to create both the wedding welcome sign and the seating chart. It effortlessly tied these important details together. The only major difference was the POP of florals beautifully peeking through the acrylic welcome sign and seating chart. Mixing florals and calligraphy will forever be my favorite!

“Our Favorite People,” is the cutest way to title a seating chart. It’s an instant smile-maker!

We loved getting to add the sweet bride and groom place cards for the head table. Yes, this is a detail that is subtle, but it holds a lot of meaning- this is Caroline and Landon’s first meal as husband and wife! Our couples are always glad they chose not to overlook the small, customizable details. They’re more important than you might think!

One of my favorite things White Ink did for Caroline and Landon’s reception was create a cocktail napkin where we incorporated the profile of Caroline’s beloved horse! Where are my horse lovers at? Is this not the most adorable way to include your favorite animal in the festivities? These cocktail napkins definitely fit into the scene of the evening.

Home weddings are on the rise. And White Ink is here for it! We are honored each time we are invited into someone’s space, to a place they call their own- a place called home. In some way, the memories are a little bit sweeter. Maybe it’s because home is where the heart is. Congratulations Caroline and Landon!

From the Ink to the Table | Robin + Jeffrey | 7.2.22

From the Ink to the Table | Robin + Jeffrey | 7.2.22

One of the things that I love about White Ink Calligraphy is that we aren’t just limited to paper. We have a wide range of capabilities that we apply to so many events, and we have so much fun doing it! We have the best clients in the world; they know we’ve got their back when it comes to meeting the expectations around their special day. Robin and Jeffrey are a great example. The White Ink team loved working for this amazing couple on their wedding day, and we know you’re going to love these details!

Robin and Jeffrey’s Nashville summer wedding was an absolute feast for the eyes. They chose the gorgeous Clementine Hall in downtown Nashville as their venue which added an array of modern elements to this southern wedding. Venues like the Clementine give White Ink a chance to stretch our creative muscles. Like getting to incorporate copper tones in much of Robin and Jeffrey’s day-of pieces. It all begins with the invitation suite that we created for our perfect pair. Custom envelope calligraphy is a showstopper all on its own, but when you pair that with a brilliant copper ink- whew! Just stunning. These invites were completed with a classic copper wax seal to make this suite as distinctive as our beautiful couple.

These same copper elements made their appearance again at Robin and Jeffrey’s reception. Guests were wowed by Whtie Ink’s one-of-a-kind table numbers made up of acrylic signage and copper pipe stands. How awesome are these? The way the copper pipes blend in with the florals on the tablescape is a really great example of how different textures can be used together to create an aesthetically delightful style. White Ink used this same acrylic and copper pipe for the bar signage, and we were thrilled with how well it turned out. We love a couple who aren’t afraid to think outside the box in terms of color and how to use it. Well done, Robin and Jeffrey!

White Ink was happy to supply our bride and groom with an all-acrylic customized table seating chart. It blended perfectly with the style of the day. One of the most novel signs we customized for Robin and Jeffrey was the sign that invited guests to sign their names to a wine bottle cork in lieu of a guestbook. I thought that was such a fantastic way to turn a common wedding tradition into something that was uniquely theirs!

Working with Robin and Jeffery was a great reminder of why we do what we do. We have the skill and the supply to match our clients’ expectations and elevate each event we are asked to be a part of. White Ink is there for you, from the ink to the table- and more.

Looking for the Right Sign | Camille + Daniel | 5.28.22

Looking for the Right Sign | Camille + Daniel | 5.28.22

Hey guys! We want to bring you into our event signage process and show you a little bit about what creating your event sign with White Ink Calligraphy looks like. Whatever you are hosting or planning, we are well equipped and have everything on hand to tie your details together with the perfect sign.

Why is event signage important?” Because it is not only decorative, it’s functional! You wouldn’t be expected to drive on a road without signs to guide you or explain a little bit about your surroundings. So, why would we do that to our guests? From table numbers to seating charts, to bar signs, guests can be confident about the goings on of an event because of the information our custom signage subtlety provides for them.

Our sweet couple, Camille and Daniel, asked White Ink to help provide their wedding guests with lots of great signage throughout their wedding day at Long Hollow Gardens. This gorgeous venue in Gallatin, Tennessee covers a lot of ground and has a lot to offer. So, bringing in signs to keep the crowd headed in the right direction and staying well-informed was a must and a very considerate addition to their big day!

White Ink put together some gorgeous pieces for Camille and Daniel. A customized seating chart, wedding welcome sign, and bar menu were just the start. We also provided our popular acrylic table numbers as well as one of our favorite items- the signage for the couple’s memorial table.

How do we get started?” First, our clients will look over White Ink’s Request a Quote Form where they can fill us in on the types of event signage they’re looking for and provide the day-of details. From there, folks can view our inventory of rentals in the White Ink collection that are available; or they can choose to use their own signs that we can customize! On this form, we try to get ALL of the info we can in order to give clients the most accurate quote. If they aren’t sure about what signs are best for an event, we can help with that! Clients can even upload pics of some event signage inspo for us to see!

We also ensure the perfect way to get your event signs to you. Whether it’s coordinating with your planner for pick up or arranging the right time for your signage to be delivered, we’ve got you! Our team is the best at what we do. So, what’s your sign?

We are honored to help clients like Camille and Daniel achieve the wedding of their dreams. And we love the signs they chose to use on their big day! The White Ink team was happy to get to work for them and give them exactly the signs they were looking for. Cheers to this amazing couple!
