Spring is always a season of renewal, vibrancy, and fresh inspiration—so what better way to welcome it than with a Spring Fling event designed specifically for wedding planners? This incredible planner showcase at the Four Seasons Nashville was a true celebration of creativity, and White Ink Calligraphy was honored to provide custom-designed event details that elevated the entire experience.
This event was extra special because our team was the only non-planner vendor invited to attend who also helped bring the vision to life! With a guest list full of wedding planners from across the country, it was a privilege to create meaningful details for the industry’s best. Seeing our work in action at the event itself was an unforgettable experience. Also, it was an absolute blast!
Custom Bold + Playful Spring Fling Invitation Suite
The event planner, Invision Events, sent over a mood board filled with bold colors and fun prints, and we instantly fell in love with the playful vibe. We carried that energyinto every detail we created, starting with a standout invitation suite.
The suite featured a striking vibrant green and bold red color palette. The invitation itself and the leopard print design on the back was letter-pressed, which made it feel extra luxurious. We also added a fierce leopard design to the envelope liner for a fun, unexpected touch. Since leopards were a key part of the planner’s original mood board, we knew we had to incorporate them throughout the event in creative ways! To tie the entire suite together, we used a pink ribbon with a green center seal reading “Spring Fling.” This playful detail set the tone for the event before guests even arrived, as they knew they were in for something special!
A Statement-Worthy Photo Op Display
One of the biggest showstoppers of the event was the Spring Fling photo op sign. It was a true labor of love! I personally hand-painted all the leopard dots and doodle lines, making it one of the most unique and interactive details of the event.
A plush orange couch for guests to pose on and gorgeous florals framing the install completed the gorgeous display. Seeing guests light up as they saw it and then posed for photos made all the effort completely worth it!
Custom Cocktail Napkins & Bar Signage
Our design contributions didn’t stop there! We carried the bold, fun details into the cocktail napkins and bar signage as well.
For the Cocktail Napkins, we created two custom designs. One was a white napkin with “Spring Fling” written in soft pink, mirroring the invitation suite’s font. The other napkin was a bold orange color featuring the same leopard design from the envelope liner, printed in crisp white.
When it came to the bar signage, we mimicked the envelope liner by using a black background with the leopards! The signature drinks were listed in orange calligraphy on a white background to make it stand out from the fun, black leopard design. However, to make it even more cohesive, we cut the white background in the same unique shape as the details card from the invitation suite!
Custom Name Tags
No detail was left untouched! To tie everything together, we created custom name tags for each guest. These tags pulled inspiration from the back of the letter-pressed invitation suite, featuring a subtle leopard print pattern with guest names in orange calligraphy. It was a wonderful way to highlight the colors and theme of this amazing event.
A Spring Fling to Remember
This Spring Fling event was truly an unforgettable way to kick off the season in style. The mix of bold colors, playful patterns, and creative touches made it a fun and memorable project to work on. We loved every second of bringing these details to life! Getting to design for fellow industry professionals and then celebrate alongside them was the icing on the cake!

White Ink delivers details for a one-of-a-kind Nashville rehearsal dinner.
Rehearsal dinners serve as the ultimate prelude to a couple’s big day. After a day of rehearsing for the upcoming nuptials, sitting down with your wedding party to share a meal and even a drink or two is the perfect way to properly welcome those who have played a huge part in your journey to the altar.
A rehearsal dinner is a great opportunity to enjoy a more intimate setting with those closest to you. It’s also a time when you can really dig your heels into tailoring a moment that boasts your personal style.
White Ink couple, Mollie and Ben, invited their wedding party to enjoy a rehearsal dinner at Nashville’s wildly popular Boqueria, a Barcelona-style tapas bar located on Broadway directly across from Nashville’s iconic Ryman Auditorium.
They asked us to join in on the fun with some custom details that put a spotlight on the friendly and fun atmosphere that the night embodied. It was an absolute honor to take part in “The Night Before.”
Want to know what’s gaining popularity with paper goods? Custom fonts! Calligraphy is in our name, but there’s a lot more to our game. As a full-service stationery studio, we love offering our couples a wide range of event details, including fonts that aren’t hand-lettered.
For their rehearsal dinner invitations, Mollie and Ben chose this super fun font we call “Doodles.” To me, this script says, “quiet luxury.” It’s understated, but still has a fun way of pulling together the couple’s personal style and the Nashville vibe.
The best part is that wedding party guests would get to enjoy this custom design throughout the night as we incorporated “doodles” on other event details!
Custom Rehearsal Dinner Signage
“Welcome to the night before.” Mollie and Ben’s rehearsal dinner welcome sign was such a vibe inviting guests to come and enjoy an intimate evening with those closest to them. Here you can see the “doodles” font used in “the night before”. I also really love it when signage like this is styled with florals that represent the season. This welcome sign looked perfect situated among a bed of summery wildflowers!
Our couple took this Nashville-themed dinner to the next level by including sketches of legendary country music greats on the rehearsal dinner seating chart and table numbers. Each table number represented an artist such as Dolly Parton, Hank Williams, Patsy Cline, Johnny Cash, and the like.
Guestbook and bar menu signage also tied the theme together with their custom script, showing wedding party guests that each detail was thoughtfully placed.
There are numerous ways to elevate the theme of an event. And rehearsal dinners have a special way of allowing couples to personalize their details in a deeper more meaningful way.
Cocktail Napkins and Drink Stirrers
We can put the White Ink touch on just about any detail and design for a couple’s event. This includes happy hour!
Check out these adorable custom designed cocktail napkins and drink stirrers. It may seem like a small gesture, but putting thought into an item like a napkin can really make a big impression! Not only are custom cocktail napkins a popular detail, but they are also an instant conversation starter. *Peep more of that super cute “doodles” font*
Custom Rehearsal Dinner Menu
If rehearsal dinner is going to be at a famous tapas bar, you’ve got to have an incredible tapas menu for guests to enjoy! We had a lot of fun creating Mollie and Ben’s custom rehearsal dinner menus. The blue hue and custom doodles font complimented the rehearsal dinner invites that guests received. Such a perfect example of tying together details throughout an event.
From invitations to signage, to cocktail napkins and more, Mollie and Ben took the opportunity to tailor their rehearsal dinner in a way that spoke to their style as well as the city where they would begin their journey into forever.
Rehearsal dinners are where couples take the time to show gratitude to those who have joined around them to support them and their union.
Looking around at all of the familiar, smiling faces can give a bride and groom the boost they need as they prepare to walk down the aisle. It’s a rehearsal to remember, and we are so happy to be a part of it.

There is a saying, “Retirement is when you stop living at work and start working at living.” And what better way to begin a new chapter in your life than to celebrate? I cherish every opportunity we get at White Ink to help elevate what are often major events in our clients’ lives, but there is something particularly special about getting the chance to be a part of a retirement celebration. Taylor Farms gave a beautiful farewell to two employees who were more like family. We were so lucky to celebrate with Bryan and Dan, and many of their closest family, friends, and coworkers. Take a look at some of these fun details we created for them.
The signage we did for this is some of my favorite. I really love getting to use our chalkboard welcome sign. It has a particular boldness about it that has a way of grabbing your attention while fitting perfectly into many styles of decor. It was perfect for this event!
Tabletop chalkboard signage just, works! These little guys can be as formal or as casual as you want them to be. And I love it when our clients choose to use these as a way to guide their guests through events.
Ok, so I want to take a quick moment to recognize one of the best in the business, Dana Carroll McCollum with Dana Carroll Co Weddings & Events! She is an amazing planner, and we absolutely LOVE each and every time we get to work with her. We usually find each other working together on weddings, so it was really fun getting to change things up while working an event like the Taylor Farms Retirement Celebration. One of the coolest parts of my job is fostering relationships among other creatives within the wedding and event world. The planning community is a very special place and people like Dana are a big reason why.
Going back to the details, I am thrilled with how well these adorable cocktail napkins turned out! The gold lettering over the black stands out so well. Details like custom cocktail napkins are a fun way to make an event feel personal and extra special. And we NEED to talk about these drink stirs! Laser cuts are now something we do in-house, and I am really excited about it because the possibilities are endless. The custom-designed, laser-cut drink stirs we did for Bryan and Dan was a stand-out piece at the party. Even the smallest details can have a lasting effect on how your guests remember your event.
Bryan and Dan elevated their party favors to their guests with the custom tags we made for each gift. Again, this is a subtle way to show your guests that you’re glad they are there to celebrate with you. It points to a great deal of thoughtfulness when you choose small yet powerful details like these.
To Dan and Bryan, we at White Ink wish you the best on what is hopefully the happiest new beginning of your lives! We are so grateful to have been a part of such a special Taylor Farms send-off. Here’s to celebrating retirement and working at living! Cheers!
Last summer was filled with a rush of the most breathtaking weddings we have ever seen. Nashville weddings simply do not disappoint. Libby and Ben’s Scarritt Bennett nuptials gives us a glimpse of the amazing wedding season we had as they showcased classic details and unforgettable design that left us speechless.
If you are from Nashville, then you are probably familiar with the reputation of Scarritt Bennett as one of Nashville’s most historic and timeless venues. Libby and Ben’s style laced seamlessly together with the design of the gorgeous Wightman Chapel at Scarritt Bennett. So much so, that custom artwork of the famous chapel was printed for the envelope liner in their invitation suites!
Libby was a bride that was not only excited by calligraphy, but also had a deep appreciation for classic letterpress. (I could cry tears of joy, honestly because- same.) She gave us the green light to design her and Ben’s invitation suites in FULL spot calligraphy and letterpress! In the world of calligraphy, THIS is about as stunning as it gets, folks. Enjoy!
Our couple chose to use envelope calligraphy in white which paired beautifully against the dusty blue envelopes.
Libby and Ben’s reception venue was at the fabulous Belle Meade Country Club. This location definitely fit with the chic and classic energy of the day. The details flowed together flawlessly throughout the entire event. Absolutely nothing was underdone. We are especially proud to show off the final look of our couple’s seating chart! This is one of our favorite charts to date. The seating chart boasted dozens of brilliant little escort cards complete with custom spot calligraphy and tassels to top it all off. Unique but chic is the name of the game here. And I’m so in love with it.
White Ink continued our touch on this special day through details like Libby and Ben’s custom bar signage and some of the most adorable cocktail napkins with prints of the couple’s fur babies, Max and Zuzu. Cocktail hour is the perfect time to include special things like beloved pets! This is quickly becoming a popular theme.
I say it all the time, but White Ink Calligraphy really does have the best couples and clients ever. It was such an honor to work with Libby and Ben throughout the planning process all the way to the big day. I was moved by their appreciation for sophisticated detail and we were happy to make it all happen for these two. We appreciate you! Cheers!
There is no shortage of awe-inspiring, crowd-pleasing, showstopping wedding venues in Nashville. But sometimes, home is exactly where you want to be and simply nothing else will do. Because, as we all know, there’s no place like home. Last fall, Caroline and Landon invited their guests to the family farm where they created an incredibly memorable wedding day and White Ink had the pleasure of elevating this beautiful day with some uniquely exciting details.
White Ink made an elegantly simple envelope using spot calligraphy in gold which the couple paired with their invites. I love this look because it is crisp and clean and the perfect example of “less is more”. Timeless and always appropriate.
The vast family farm offered the most breathtaking views and open spaces. Caroline and Landon thoughtfully provided a directional sign for their guests so that they could easily get around the farm. White Ink put together this rustic, chic sign. I especially love the look of the acrylic with the wooden case. The custom white calligraphy was the cherry on top!
We took the same style as the directional sign to create both the wedding welcome sign and the seating chart. It effortlessly tied these important details together. The only major difference was the POP of florals beautifully peeking through the acrylic welcome sign and seating chart. Mixing florals and calligraphy will forever be my favorite!
“Our Favorite People,” is the cutest way to title a seating chart. It’s an instant smile-maker!
We loved getting to add the sweet bride and groom place cards for the head table. Yes, this is a detail that is subtle, but it holds a lot of meaning- this is Caroline and Landon’s first meal as husband and wife! Our couples are always glad they chose not to overlook the small, customizable details. They’re more important than you might think!
One of my favorite things White Ink did for Caroline and Landon’s reception was create a cocktail napkin where we incorporated the profile of Caroline’s beloved horse! Where are my horse lovers at? Is this not the most adorable way to include your favorite animal in the festivities? These cocktail napkins definitely fit into the scene of the evening.
Home weddings are on the rise. And White Ink is here for it! We are honored each time we are invited into someone’s space, to a place they call their own- a place called home. In some way, the memories are a little bit sweeter. Maybe it’s because home is where the heart is. Congratulations Caroline and Landon!
