Cille and Ford gave us the perfect wedding to showcase the work we have so much fun doing for our clients. We can’t wait to add some of these exclusive White Ink details to your next event!
What is trending in invitation suites?Two words- Envelope Calligraphy! This ode to elegance is taking back its rightful place in the invitation world. Envelope calligraphy can only be enhanced by custom designed wax seals. You can see here that Cille and Ford chose to have the wax seals on their envelopes show the same monogram as their invites. But it doesn’t stop there; I am gushing over how perfect the entire suite came together with custom monogrammed invitation bands. This suite has it all- calligraphy, personalization, and good taste.
What is trending with seating charts? Originality, for one and calligraphy of course. Reception seating charts are an entire mood! Our White Ink team has had the honor of creating countless seating charts that take on all shapes, textures, themes and sizes. Cille and Ford’s seating chart is definitely one that’s hard to forget. We added custom calligraphy to an all-acrylic sign which was designed to fit neatly onto a hedge wall donned with SHELVES. OF. CHAMPAINGE. Add that to the list of things I’ll never get tired of saying!
What is trending at reception tables? Custom table numbers! And I’d like to add that the White Ink rental collection has nearly every sort of table number that we can customize specifically for your event no matter the style. Just as Cille and Ford did, you can make it as personal as you like. They decided to add photos of themselves to each sign so that the number on the table corresponded with the age they are in the photo, i.e., table number five displayed pictures of both Cille and Ford when they were five years old. Now that’s how you make it personal, and memorable! For this reception, White Ink also created monogrammed menus for each table setting which included gold ink calligraphy place cards attached to each menu- another trend we are always excited to see.
What is trending at the bar? Cocktail Calligraphy! No, we aren’t just talking about bar signage. We mean calligraphy for the actual drink! We customize and design drink friendly cocktail calligraphy to be placed perfectly atop your favorite drinks. Trust me when I say, this is a trend that is taking off like wildfire. And it is something your guests will be talking about for a long time.

Not only did Cille and Ford have an unforgettable wedding day complete with top notch details, but they also made sure to make it theirs, to make it personal. And that will never go out of style!

And we want to share them with you! This time, White Ink goes to Sarasota, Florida to take part in a wedding where love was all in the detail.
White Ink couple, Jessica and Adam, recently tied the knot and we had a lot of fun with some of the long-lasting details of their wedding. Take your time to check out how gorgeous this calligraphy looks on these leather pieces for the seating signage (this is your reminder that we do SO much more than paper!). These beauties were charmingly tucked beneath a cascading array of flowers for every guest to gush over as they walked by. This seating chart is the epitome of balance between gentle and bold. In addition, White Ink was excited to personalize the stunning leather favorites that gently laid atop the reception menus for the guests. Even Jessica and Adam’s champagne bottle was draped in the delicately customized leather.
Did you notice that Jessica and Adam had each leather piece branded with their wedding logo? Talk about a conversation piece! We’re thinking leather is kind of the best texture ever to elevate your next event.
This couple left no stone unturned. The lasting memories that guests walked away with were all in the detail. From the majestic display of florals to the precise construction of their wedding cake and cocktails, it’s hard not to be enraptured by the beauty of a wedding like this.

Ya’ll, we love a traditional Nashville style wedding, but there is something so satisfying about watching a wedding with a more modern form come together. Brittany and Thomas did not let us down. Everything they chose, from the invitation suites to place cards, was dripping in the perfect mixture of elegance and boldness. It made my calligrapher heart so happy that the White Ink team had the opportunity to work with this fantastic couple and help make their wedding dream become a reality.

For starters, Brittany and Thomas chose Saint Elle in downtown Nashville as their wedding venue. It’s impossible to go wrong with that location! The furniture, the clean lines, the open spaces, and the abundance of greenery will certainly compliment your modern wedding goals. I love that we got create some really sleek custom calligraphy that flowed with the top-notch décor.
White Ink kept it coming while we put our mark on the super chic welcome sign, seating chart, bar signage, and place cards. I don’t know, but putting white custom calligraphy on top of black just kept blowing my mind. And I want more! We definitely had a lot of favorites at this wedding but getting to customize the envelopes that read, “To my Bride/Groom on our wedding day,” warmed our hearts! Seeing their reaction to such a sweet and delicate moment on the biggest day of their lives really made me appreciate that White Ink had a little part in that.

Anytime I think about designing for this wedding it puts a smile on my face. We cannot wait for the next opportunity to design with a modern style in mind because, just like those confetti streamers at our couples exit, this wedding POPPED!
Hey everyone! We wanted to take the time to show you just a few things that our couples have been gushing over when it comes to calligraphy and stationery designs at their wedding! Leslie and Adam’s wedding is the perfect opportunity for White Ink to show you what we mean. We were delighted to be a part of so much for this event including: the invitations, programs, menus, seating chart display, welcome sign and tabletop signage. You name it, and White Ink was on it.
What’s the new craze in invitations? Navy envelopes! We don’t know exactly why navy hits the spot for so many of our couples, but we aren’t complaining. Look at how stunning Leslie and Adam’s crisp, white invites look against the dark hue. Not to mention, we got to use gold calligraphy on the envelopes that literally shine as the light moves across it. I seriously can’t stop smiling at these. These envelopes have a look that is strong and steady, exactly the kind of message many of our couples want to express.
Ok, let’s talk about how custom seating charts are on the rise. Leslie and Adam’s seating chart absolutely wins! Gold calligraphy written atop hand-torn paper, crowned with a custom wax seal, pinned against a towering hedge wall. Breathtaking! Seating charts have totally transformed as couples are using this particular detail to showcase their own unique styles. White Ink was born for this challenge. Over the past few years, we have been tasked with putting together custom seating charts and escort card displays that are truly showstopping. This is a fantastic way to make your guests feel like they’re a part of something singularly extraordinary.
White Ink has a really terrific rental collection that we love for our brides and grooms to check out. Some of which includes our most popular and trending pieces, like our card boxes! These charming little boxes are a great way to guide your guests to the gift table and show that every item given is treasured. Another White Ink rental favorite is our gold-framed, mirrored welcome sign which Leslie and Adam paired with their impressive seating chart display. This mirrored sign boldly fits into nearly any style of wedding our couples envision. Table signage, especially table numbers and bar signage, can really set your event apart. This is exactly what we did for Leslie and Adam, as the gold accented table signs matched perfectly with the gold highlights of each tablescape.

I like to think that I have been exceptionally lucky in getting to see the most amazing details that this wedding town has to offer. From striking floral arrangements to grand venues, White Ink is constantly wowed by the visions that our couples and fellow creatives have pieced together. Once again, White Ink returns to the remarkable Saint Elle venue which is known for its distinct modern features. Taylor and Jacob used the beauty of this setting to incorporate their own expressive and romantic styles in one of the dreamiest boho style weddings we have ever seen. Seating charts are a wedding reception’s hidden gem. They offer simplicity in an otherwise high energy setting. Your guests don’t have to worry about having to pick a spot for themselves and can enjoy the transition from cocktail hour to dining. White Ink LOVES seating charts because, for a calligrapher, the choice of canvas is seemingly unlimited. Look at how incredible our couple’s seating chart display was! I mean, calligraphy on VINTAGE VASES! This display is honestly one of the most impressive things I’ve gotten to put my touch on. We still can’t get over how fun this project was!
Another item White Ink prepared for Taylor and Jacob was signage displaying the “Order of Events” and the “Wedding Party.” The idea of keeping your guests informed this way is a personal favorite of mine. Another, favorite for the White Ink team is the adorable “Cards” box that we have recently added to our expansive rental collections. We love getting to customize this small but mighty feature for our lovely couples.
Taylor and Jacob were not shy when it came to choosing expressive, modern, boho and delightfully wild colors and florals for their big day. We are grateful for every couple that we get to work with, especially the ones that open our eyes to a wedding like we’ve never seen before. And we just can’t wait for more.
