Being given the opportunity to truly tap into my creative side makes me feel as free as the bubbles floating to the top of a champagne flute. The White Ink team was invited to take part in some seriously showstopping details for the wedding of our amazing couple, Molly and Killian.
Aside from making their vows at the former home of Reba McEntire, our couple wowed their guests with custom wedding details and designs that would be the topic of conversation for a long time to come.
Let’s jump right in to the seating chart wall, shall we? I mean LOOK at this gorgeous wall! If you want to make an impression, seating charts are a great place to start. White Ink designed the custom, laser-cut calligraphy title “Sip and Be Seated” for this showstopper of a seating chart.
Next, we created the escort cards to slip over the champagne flutes that lined the entire wall. (I love that I get to say that sentence). I appreciate the duality of using this wall as a way to seat your guests and get the cocktail hour started. Very clever!
White Ink customized Molly and Killian’s mirrored wedding welcome sign which was beautifully paired with florals that spilled over the edges. I honestly love when couples use their florals with signage like this. It’s always such a fantastic balance of softness and elegance.
Molly and Killian chose to use our table numbers that were designed with gold ink and completed with gold foil edges. These table numbers are some of my favorites from the White Ink collection!
Want to know what’s kind of the cutest thing ever? Bathroom selfie lettering! Imagine taking a moment for a quick wardrobe check and being greeted with the message, “Hey gorgeous, get back on the dance floor” written on the bathroom mirror. You wouldn’t have to tell me twice! Wedding receptions need this energy.
White Ink completed this dreamboat of a wedding by creating custom cocktail lettering! These are so, so fun to make. I absolutely love getting to do orders like this, partly because I know how much people are going to enjoy it. I promise you if this is ever something you choose to add to your cocktail hour, your guests will be impressed!
Cheers to the happy couple! And thank you for all the timeless wedding inspo!
It makes my calligrapher heart so happy to see White Ink’s work go beyond the Nashville scene. We love to reach out as far as we can, leaving our mark on the events and weddings that our clients have worked so hard to pull together. This time we found ourselves in the dreamiest corner of Kentucky, with the sweetest couple we could’ve hoped for. I’ve been so excited to share these moments from Adair and Andrew’s charming Kentucky wedding with you!
Want to know the best way to boost the décor of your wedding? Mirrors! Mirrors take on a very delicate and unassuming role in the world of décor. They can flawlessly and beautifully fill any space in nearly any event. White Ink has an amazing collection of mirrors for our brides and grooms to use and customize for their weddings. When it comes to making good use of the versatility that our mirror collection provides, Adair and Andrew understood the assignment.
Check out how adorable our round ornamented mirror looks beside the card box. I love that they chose signage to help highlight what the guests would find at this table. I feel like this sweet little mirror and card box were made for each other! So, so perfect.
As if walking underneath a canopy of holly trees to find their seat wasn’t breathtaking enough, guests were swept away with the tender lyrics of one the most well-known love songs ever. We customized this gorgeous mirror to read, “Take my hand, Take my whole life too.” I mean, it’s enough to turn anyone into a complete puddle, right? Our bride and groom also used a custom mirror at their cake and dessert table with the lyrics, “How sweet it is to be loved by you.” I cannot think of a better way to add romance to your wedding décor. Additionally, Adair and Andrew chose one of our favorite mirrors that we custom made to use as their welcome sign, and I love the uniqueness of the frame for this sign. The outdoors of Kentucky worked as the perfect setting for it.
Our couples can never go wrong when choosing these beautiful, tall, standing mirrors to customize their seating chart. There’s something about their beautiful thin gold frames that makes the wording just pop! But I think my new favorite thing is really starting to be the photo guestbook signage. It’s kind of the cutest idea ever and our couples can walk away with instant lasting memories. (It’s the cute little camera on this mirror for me!)
Ok guys, from the castle, to the gardens, to the string quartet and everything in between (including some tasty McDonald’s fries), this wedding was seriously straight out of a fairytale. Our White Ink team was so thrilled with how our details turned out for Adair and Andrew. To say the least, we are proud to be a part of this Kentucky dream!
I absolutely love getting a chance to show you guys projects that White Ink does that are completely outside of the wedding scene. It’s a great opportunity for us to remind folks that calligraphy belongs in any event!
One of Nashville’s top lifestyle-influencers and bloggers, Hunter Premo, reached out to White Ink for help in personalizing the coolest first birthday party we’ve ever seen! This day was all about Remy, the birthday boy. His first birthday seriously blew us away. And our team had a ton fun creating some unique pieces that are sure to bring a bit of birthday inspo to you.
Let’s go to summer camp! This camp-themed birthday was filled with all the nostalgia any summer camp lover could ask for with activities like archery, fishing, workshop, bounce house, watering hole (bar), even a reptile petting station! White Ink got to create the wooden activity signs that were perfectly situated against one of the trees on the property. This definitely made for a great conversation piece. (The owners liked them so much they actually kept them up long after the party was over.)
White Ink’s touch could be spotted throughout “camp” as we created special signage at many of the stations. The adventure sign broke down all of the scheduled activities for the day, which turns out to be a really helpful source when there is such a young audience to entertain. Campers of all ages could enjoy refreshments with lemonades for the little campers and cocktails for the more mature campers! We loved getting to make this sign, so cute!
My personal favorite was the table for Remy’s “time capsule”. We did the sign for this station asking folks to write down a message for Remy to open on his 18th birthday. How awesome is that! I wonder what words of wisdom he’ll smile at when he reads them.
White Ink Calligraphy has the best clients in the world! We love it when we get to keep celebrating some of the biggest moments throughout their lives. Remy, we hope your day was filled with all of the love and wonder you deserve. We were so happy just to be a part of it!
White Ink is no stranger to our neighbors to the north. Kentucky has our heart for many reasons, and we happily add the nuptials of Kathryn and Will to that list. Their wedding took place on Kathryn’s family property, and this wasn’t White Ink’s first appearance at the charming Kentucky home. Only a few years before, Kathryn’s sister also married at this home and asked us to put our creative touch on her wedding. You can imagine our excitement when we got the call to come back! If you’ve ever seen a Kentucky sunset, you might understand exactly why we jumped at a second chance to showcase our work in the bluegrass state.
Every wedding is one of a kind. Like a fingerprint, every couple is unique and expresses themselves in their own unique ways on their big day. Still, some things are worth holding on to and some ideas are worth borrowing. We were delighted that Kathryn and Will wanted to use the same wood boards that Kathryn’s sister used to display their seating chart. Kathryn had them sanded down and restained for her wedding. This isn’t just any seating chart display; these wooden boards stand at a massive eight feet tall! But we didn’t want to just reuse this display, we wanted to add some serious flare to these babies. Hello gold foil flakes! Yeah, about that sunset we mentioned- take a look at how it turned these seating charts into pure magic.
Kathryn and Will allowed us to put together some other really fun details for their wedding celebration. Usually when people think about calligraphy, they think of invites or signage; but calligraphers can do SO much more! Check out the cups and koozies our team put together for this fabulous couple. We not only like stepping outside of the usual requests, but we look forward to it. I personally love that Kathryn and Will included their sweet pups in the details!
There’s something about Kentucky; maybe it’s the sunset, perhaps it’s the landscape. But I’m thinking it has something to do with the people, people like Kathryn and Will. We were invited to celebrate with this awesome family for a second time, and that’s a very special thing to us. Cheers!
There are some weddings that have a magical way of rooting themselves into your memory. Maggie and Barret’s winter wonder wedding is certainly one that is impossible to forget. This couple aimed for a dreamy, wintery celebration at the gorgeous Long Hollow Gardens in Gallatin, TN, where even mother nature bestowed a gift on the festivities. What could be better than snowfall during a winter wedding? Perfection!
White Ink was invited to take part in putting together some gorgeous and timeless details of this picture-perfect fairy tale starting with Maggie and Barret’s invitations. The shade of green used on their envelopes compliments the bold impressions that winter brings along. It’s a perfect mix of classic and gentle. Custom envelope calligraphy makes this suite even sweeter.
The welcome sign from White Ink insists on being seen! It is seriously one of our favorite pieces to include in the décor of weddings like this one. Nothing compares to ornamented gold, truly.
The cocktail hour drink favorites are displayed on these stunning little gold framed mirrors. We always have a lot of fun with these! They fit seamlessly into any event.
Mirrors, mirrors, and more mirrors! At White Ink, we LOVE mirrors, want to know why? Not only are they timeless details that can elevate any scene, but they are reusable! We can use them over and over, helping us in reducing waste. Mirrors are a must-have item that any bride and groom can feel good about using. We are over-the-moon for the hanging mirrors used to display the reception’s seating chart. The way the greenery interlaces throughout this display is almost too much to handle.
Why stop there? Nestled into the gentle, rustic tablescapes is one of our favorite pieces, gold mirrored acrylic table numbers. Just another detail you didn’t know you needed for your next event.
We loved how Maggie and Barret’s menus turned out, especially the way they popped overtop the deeper colors of the décor. Simply done and perfectly placed, creating a menu for your event helps promote that classic look that we all adore.
As if the fresh snow, cobble stone floor, stringed lighting, and wintery florals weren’t enough to perfect this fairy-tale, our bride and groom used a snow machine for their unforgettable send-off! Really solidifying the winter wonder wedding fun!
At White Ink, we are so touched to be a part of our couples’ dream weddings. We can’t think of a bigger honor. For Maggie and Barret, we were thrilled to use our creativity in helping them create a night that is frozen in time. Congrats!
Go for it! Go for the wedding of your dreams. Say yes to the soul stirring details you’ve longed for. Whatever your mountain is, go for the top! Madeline and Dustin showed us how to take a wedding to new heights with their Colorado dream wedding at Granby Ranch in Granby, Colorado.
Madeline and Dustin are both creatives in their own right as Dustin has established himself as a film director in the music and entertainment industry, and Madeline as a creator of Nashville’s go-to source for neon event signage! At White Ink, we hold a very special place for fellow creatives and make it our goal to help bring their vision to life. This amazing couple made it really fun for us to create some custom details that perfectly complimented the views of their mountaintop wedding.
Just as easily as the mountains kiss the clouds, the romantic and western styles of our bride and groom joined seamlessly together throughout the entire day. We NEED you to take a moment to look at how incredible these invitation suites turned out! Madeline and Dustin customized their invites to include oversized wax seals, spot calligraphy, envelope calligraphy, and envelope liners with artwork as breathtaking as the views from their special day. Even the vellum gatefold invited each guest to take a ‘peak’ into this dreamy event (pun absolutely intended).
We are honored that Madeline and Dustin brought us on this amazing journey with them. From the wind blowing through the tall grass to the laughter echoing through the valleys, these images are stamped on our hearts. And White Ink can’t wait to be with you on YOUR mountain, whatever that looks like. We are ready to create and customize the wedding of your dreams!
